ECHINACEA.jpg (82954 bytes) Wildflowers such as Pale Purple Coneflower (Echinacea pallida) cover the slopes of the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve in June.  Owned by The Nature Conservancy, the Preserve comprises 37,000 acres of tallgrass prairie in northern Oklahoma.  There are places here where one can view a sea of grass from horizon to horizon.
